Day 1 AIRPORT- NEGOMBO

AM – On Arrival meet our Representative at the Airport and drive to Negombo. Negombo is a fishing village located 37kms away from Colombo which is popular for the breathtaking view of the beach and lagoon. It’s a hotspot to see the Archeological monuments of Dutch and
Portuguese period.

Day 2 NEGOMBO - ANURADHAPURA

AM – Breakfast and leave for Anuradhapura
Engage in a City tour of Anuradhapura.
Anurdahpura is the first Capital of Sri Lanka located in the North central part of Island. You could visit many Historical and Archeological sites in the excursion.

PM – Check-in to your hotel in Anudadhapura and stay leisure

Day 3 ANURADHAPURA - JAFFNA

AM – After breakfast to Jaffna, the capital city of northern province. Jaffna has the second largest fort city in Sri Lanka which is connected to the rest of the Island ‘Elephant Pass'

PM- Check-in to your hotel in Jaffna
Visit the Jaffna market and the Nallur kovil

Day 4 JAFFNA

AM- Breakfast and leave for a sightseeing tour of Jaffna
You will be covering Point Pedro, Nilavari Well, Dambakola Patuna, Keeramalai, Jaffna Public Library and Dutch Fort

PM- Late evening return to hotel

Day 5 JAFFANA - NAGADEEPA - JAFFNA

AM- After an early breakfast drive to get the boat to Nagadeepa. The ferry ride takes approx 15minutes. Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya is one of the sixteen most sacred places of worship by the Buddhists in Sri Lanka.

PM- Visit Casuarina Beach and Naga Viharaya

Day 6 JAFFNA - TRINCOMALEE

AM- After breakfast drive to Trincomalee
En route stop at Elephant Pass and Kiliochchi to see the war monuments

PM- Engage in a City tour of Trincomalee which is located in the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. You can see one of the best natural harbours in the world.

Day 7 TRINCOMALEE

Full day leisure at your hotel in Trincomalee. Enjoy the beach stay

Day 8 TRINCOMALEE - SIGIRIYA

AM – Breakfast and drive to Sigiriya

PM- Check-in to your hotel in Sigiyra
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is a World Heritage Site preserved by UNESCO. This fortress was built by King Kasyapa using the Sigiriya Rock, 180m in height with exquisite rock paintings of the “Cloud Damsels” in two sheltered pockets. It takes approx two and half hours for this excursion. It is advisable to do this excursion morning time or afternoon to avoid the hot sun burn.

Day 9 SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - SIGIRIYA

AM – After breakfast drive to Polonnaruwa City to visit the ancient monuments. Polonnaruwa is the second largest ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka with many ruins to visit.

PM – Engage in a Safari to Minneriya National Park which is popular to see the Elephant gathering and the key point of this park is the Minneriya Tank.

Day 10 SIGIRIYA - DAMBULLA - KANDY

AM – Breakfast and drive to Kandy via Dambulla.
En route visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple which has 250steps to climb. This temple called as “Golden Temple of Dambulla”. The caves give shelter for ancient statues and paintings for Lord Buddha and this is the largest protected cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
If interested visit a Spice garden in Matale where you can see the well grown spice plantation, touch and smell the Asian spices. You can also purchase the spices in small and large quantities.

PM – In Kandy witness the cultural dance show in Kandy city and then visit the Temple of tooth Relic also known as “Dalada Maligawa”

Day 11 KANDY - PINNAWELA - PERADENIYA - KANDY

AM –Breakfast and drive Pinnawela to visit the Elephant Orphanage
This is a very popular location amongst the local and foreign tourists. You can see the milk feeding and Elephant bathing at different times of the day.  

PM-Drive to Peradeniya to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens which is located approx 5Kms away from the Kandy city center. It covers more than 4000 spices within 147acres of land.

Day 12 KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

AM – Breakfast and leave for Nuwara Eliya also called as the “Little England”- This is the hill country side of Sri Lanka. En route visit a Tea estate and see the functions of a Tea Factory.

PM –Visit Sita Amman Kovil and walk around the Gregory Lake

Day 13 NUWARA ELIYA - YALA

AM –After breakfast Drive to Yala, which takes approx five and half hours drive

PM – Engage in an evening Safari at Yala National Park
Engage in a Safari to Yala National Park which is a second Largest National park in the country and famous for Leopard and Elephant Safaris.

Day 14 YALA - GALLE

AM – Breakfast and leave for Galle
En route do a City tour of Galle - which has been declared as a World Heritage city by the UNESCO. The Dutch Fort is the highlight of the city which carries a history of the European settlers in Sri Lanka.

PM – Check-in to your hotel selected in Galle city
You could also stay in a boutique hotel located inside the Galle Fort
