Day 1 AIRPORT - NEGOMBO

AM – On Arrival meet our Representative at the Airport and drive to Negombo. Negombo is a fishing village located 37kms away from Colombo which is popular for the breathtaking view of the beach and lagoon. It’s a hotspot to see the archeological monuments of Dutch and
Portuguese period.  

PM – Check-in to your hotel in Negombo

Day 2 NEGOMBO - SIGIRIYA

AM – After an early breakfast and leave for Pinnawela
This is a very popular location amongst the local and foreign tourists. You can see the milk feeding and Elephant bathing at different times of the day

PM – Check-in to your hotel in Sigiriya
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is a World Heritage Site preserved by UNESCO. This fortress was built by King Kasyapa using the Sigiriya Rock, 180m in height with exquisite rock paintings of the “Cloud Damsels” in two sheltered pockets. It takes approx two and half hours for this excursion. It is advisable to do this excursion morning time or afternoon to avoid the hot sun burn.

Day 3 SIGIRIYA - HABARANA - SIGIRIYA

AM – Breakfast and leave for Habarana
Engage in an Elephant Back ride

PM –Leisure at pool.

Day 4 SIGIRIYA - DAMBULLA - KANDY

AM – Leave for Kandy. En route visit the Golden temple in Dambulla
En route visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple which has 250steps to climb. This temple called as “Golden Temple of Dambulla”. The caves give shelter for ancient statues and paintings for Lord Buddha and this is the largest protected cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
If interested visit a Spice garden in Matale where you can see the well grown spice plantation, touch and smell the Asian spices. You can also purchase the spices in small and large quantities.

PM – In Kandy witness the cultural dance show in Kandy city and then visit the Temple of tooth Relic also known as “Dalada Maligawa”

Day 5 KANDY - KITHULGALA - NUWARA ELIYA

AM – Breakfast and drive to Kithulgala
Enjoy the white water rafting activity

PM- Continue your journey to Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya also called as the “Little England”- This is the hill country side of Sri Lanka.
Visit a Tea factory and see the functions of a Tea Factory

Day 6 NUWARA ELIYA - YALA

AM –After breakfast Drive to Yala, which takes approx five and half hours drive

PM – Engage in an evening safari at Yala National Park
Engage in a safari to Yala National Park which is a second Largest National park in the country and famous for Leopard and Elephant safaris.

Day 7 YALA

AM –Engage in a cycling tour in the village area OR do a village walk

PM – Engage in adventure activities at your interest– Boat ride at Yoda Wewa, Kayaking, Toddy Rope, Tower Rappelling,  
Enjoy a BBQ night

Day 8 YALA - GALLE

AM – Breakfast and leave for Galle
En route do a city tour of Galle - which has been declared as a World Heritage city by the UNESCO. The Dutch Fort is the highlight of the city which carries a history of the European settlers in Sri Lanka.

PM – Check-in to your hotel selected in Galle city
You could also stay in a boutique hotel located inside the Galle Fort

Day 9 GALLE - AIRPORT

AM – After breakfast drive to Airport to connect with your departure flight
